Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 5, 2005 [At GABF 2004] A red-brown beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma contains loads of coffee and chocolate - nice. The flavor is sweet with chocolate being the most dominant - the coffee lingers far in the background, but the mouthfeel is flat. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Date: 10/12/2007

argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Jul 5, 2004 Black body with nitro head. Aroma is sweet, coffee, some chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, roasty, coffee, some chocolate, finishing coffee roasty. Watery, light-medium body. Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 5, 2005 Lasting rocky dark beige head hangs above the very close to black glow. Big roasted grain jumps in the nose, procuring the desired coffee notes blended with dark chocolate and supporting blackberry and grape fruitiness. The impressive part is how it hints at vanilla while being pretty dry on the palate, pushing its fortune to suggesting earthy and woody tones, all of which contribute to an atypical offering. Medium bodied, creamy texture, light carbonation, roasty and dry. Good stout. CaptainCougar (4633), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 27, 2007 On tap at the 2007 GABF: Nearly opaque dark mahogany with a small creamy dark tan head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel and chocolate with a hint of espresso. Body starts fairly thin with a lightly caramel maltiness and some smooth mild dark chocolate and coffee. Very drinkable but needs more body.
