On draft at Triumph in Princeton. Pours a coca cola brown with a creamy beige head. Creamy beer but the coffee flavour could have been more robust. Weak aroma of coffee and not much else. Flavour of watered down coffee, malt, milk, sugar. Really bland flavour.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, Princeton, 11/17/13, as Small World C&C Stout (listed at 5.7%)
Aroma: The nose is full of dark coffee along with some roasted and burnt malts
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a smooth and creamy brown head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is heavy coffee, not particularly sweet, but quite roasty and a little burnt
Palate: This one is very smooth and creamy on the mouth with a pretty much flat carbonation
I thought this was a pretty solid beer. It has a really nice, smooth, almost cask like feel to it, but it is served very (probably too) cold. Nice beer for fans of coffee fronted stouts, and very drinkable at around 5%.

Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Smells of coffee (from Small World), dark breads. Taste is sweet, mildly bitter - coffee with cream, sweet cocoa.

A: Pours pitch black with a creamy, Guinness-looking head. Retention is excellent and the head is light brown
S: Delicate, lactose, light coffee, roasty and toasty malts. Seems really balanced and delicious
T: Lots of lactose, coffee grounds, caramel, toffee, roasted malts, and light cocoa
MF/D: Smooth, creamy, medium body, velvety texture. Really drinkable and sessionable at 5%

On tap at the Triumph Brewing Company in Philadelphia, served in a shaker. Pours deep black with a creamy tan head. Head has great retention and lace. On the nose, the aroma is primarily coffee, with burnt malts, herbs and a touch of earth. The flavour is coffee bitter throughout with a slight sweetness. It is nearly balanced, but it accomplishes this with coffee; the hops are hidden. The finish is clean. On the palate, is it full in body with a creamy texture and slight carbonation. Overall, this is not a great stout. It is too light in body, so that it feels watery and empty. It also overdoes the coffee--I feel like I might get a caffeine rush! A larger malt profile would be nice. 2010-08-02

Nitro Draft @ triumph princeton. Black pour with some tan head. Sweet chocolate and coffee aroma with some light cream essence. Bitter coffee and chocolate flavors. and lactose flavors.

Dark brown black with a creamy tan head. Aroma and taste are all coffee, but the beer loses it at extreme undervarbonation and mouthfeel.

Texture is creamy, smooth, thick. Pretty much what you’d expect from the name. The flavour is pretty much like a dark stout, though. Bit of a beer face.

Draft, vintage rating. Pours a black body with a tan head. Straight up coffee and coffee grinds. Very dark roasted, bitter burnt coffee and a bitter finish. Good.
