Feb 2, 2008 Pours a hazed amber brown. Yeasty nose that is just bringing the funk. Full banana on the flavor, which is kind of a good sign that these guys maybe sort of know what to do here. Nice robust and earthy profile. Full body feel on the mouth. Smooth carbonation. Overall very drinkable. Just a nice robust hefe.

Aug 29, 2007 Tap @ Triumph Philly. Poured a hazy dark golden color. The aroma had very big banana notes with some clove and licorice underneath. The flavor had banana and big clove with a mildly tart/citric finish that drys out a good bit at the very end. Mild spice.

Aug 5, 2007 Very good. i’m always surprised at how well brewpubs can make a hefeweizen. Light copper/orange color with about an inch of white head. Lots of banana esters and clove. light and refreshing especially because it was 90+ degrees outside.
