CaptainCougar (4601), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jan 23, 2006 Growler courtesy of willblake: Pours a cloudy dark copper with a thin, lightly-lacing white head. Big caraway seed aroma has some bready malty base. Starts with a ton of caraway seeds and a bready mouthfeel. This is like drinking rye bread. I’m not a big fan of caraway seeds, but this is still a very interesting and well-made brew. If you like rye bread, I’d highly recommend you try this. hopscotch (4385), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2004 Crystal clear, copper ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Thick, creamy lacing. The aroma and flavor are of rye bread including the caraway seeds... definitely used to spice things up. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and almost no carbonation. Short, astringent finish.
