COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unfiltered Pilsner style beer originates in the Franconian region in northern Bavaria. It's characterized by it's high hop content and cloudy appearance due to the presence of yeast.

Draft at new hope. Transparent. Pee color. Light, crisp and smooth. Not as hoppy as I wanted from a german pils. Good though

Golden with a white head. Aroma is crisp, nice grass, light grain, and a bit of lemon. Flavor really piles on the sharp grass hops with a lingering lemony background and mild to light grains. Very nice beer.

On tap at Triumph in Philly. Very yeasty aroma, crisp clear taste, lemony, refreshing. Had a few at this brewpub and found this one to be the best.

ROGUE (1315) - Newark, Delaware, USA - JAN 26, 2011
On tap at brewpub. Pours a slightly cloudy gold color with a thick white head. Aroma of musty grass hops and a bit of sweet biscuit. Taste has a strong hop presence with lots of grassy hops and bitter lemon rind. Hops dominate but are held in check by a sturdy biscuity maltiness. Medium body with a slight oily texture.

GABF 2010 - one of the many stand-out kellers at the fest - a bit more of a higher toasted grain character to the flavor, but for the most part this one was super clean, with just enough bready yeast character to add a little heft - spicy hop character adds an herbal character to the finish - a crisp clean bite of a finish - quite nice.

On tap at Triumph. Pours a hazy light yellow gold with a medium sized white head. A touch sweet, with some citrus and grain. Grainy, more so than the honey blonde, just lots of grain, gets obtrusive. Grain and bitterness on the finish. Meh.

On draft in New Hope. Pours a clear liquid gold with a medium white head. Aroma of honey and hops. Taste of honey and hops with a touch of lemon zest.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, raisins, and mustiness. Flavor of grass, sweet citrus, and grain.
