Draft at Triumph. Pours red with a beige head. Nice aroma, lots of spices...cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Medium light mouthfeel. Very typical pumpkin beer, but clean. Not mindblowing either

On tap at the Philly brewpub. Clearish orange brown with some white froth. Nose is pumpkin spice; heavy on the clove and nutmeg. Medium light with moderate carb. Taste like the nose, some lemon and spices. I didn’t pick up too much pumpkin. Spices avoid the bitter aftertaste i sometimes find in brews like this.

Growler from Princeton shared at Moosetoberfest. Poured a slihtly muddy brownish/red with a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma is very well done and like liquid pumpkin pie in a glass. The flavor is taken over by the spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and the pumpkin is more of a background flavor. Solid effort but once again the spices dominate and the pumpkin takes a backseat.

A: Clear dark amber body thin tan head.
S: Light spices, ginger and nutmeg.
T: Strong spices of ginger and nutmeg, that’s about it.
M: Medium body and carbonation.
O: Too much spices.

Sample at the Princeton location: Pours a clear reddish-orange color with a compact light beige head that burns off quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, malt and nutmeg. Light-bodied with mild pumpkin and cinnamon flavors, along with other spices in the background. The finish remains pumpkin-y with a short herbal aftertaste. Overall the beer is okay, albeit one-dimensional.

Hazy orange brown with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, and light citrus. Taste of nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, pine, and pumpkin.

poured a golded amber, lots of pumpkin and spices, some cinnamon, some clove. flavor didnt deliver the amount of pumpkin that the aroma advertised...spices kind of dominated too much. not a bad pumpkin, but not a great one either.

Princeton. I thought the flavor was a little too heavy on the spices with not enough pumpkin, but I keep comparing all the Pumpkin Ales I try to Dogfish Head’s Punkin Ale, so I guess it’s sort of unfair. Very drinkable, added flavors aren’t overpowering, just maybe not as well rounded as I’d prefer my beer.

Tap at the Philly location: Hazy copper orange with an off white film of head. Sweet aroma- canned pumpkin, maltose and cinnamon- not very spicy- not much depth. Creamy body with a sweet flavor- maltose, brown sugar, cinnamon, canned pumpkin- slightly under attenuated, or just needs more spices.
