3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Triumph. Pours a clear copper hued amber with medum sized white head. Light sweet citrus and floral hops on the nose. Sweet malt, very subtle. Bright citrus over malt, lots of nice tropical fruit notes, pineapple. Nice body, a touch of warming alcohol, citrus and toast. Long bitter finish with a touch more tropical fruit and sweet malt. Very nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub, Princeton. Pretty nice beer, a robust pour with a nice head and pert carbonation. Nose is floral and a bit sharp. Not quite as heady and fruity as a lot of simcoe IPAs are, and I appreciated the bitters in there for balance. Nice beer.

Draft at new hope. Amber dark color. Hoppy aroma. Piney taste of rye. Darker then I’d expect. Really good regardless. Ill have another pint

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at New Hope a few months back. Poured a ruby amber in color with a neat pure white head. Aroma is very grassy, citrus hops, and somewhat of a fruity hop note. Flavor is very zesty, with a good zing of hops and a sweet malt balance. Was very refreshing.

On tap at New Hope BP. Poured clear deep amber with pillowy off-white head. Nice floral orange/citrus aroma. Malty with a clean hop bite. Hop flavor is present (grassy/green). Very well balanced, mouth feel is creamy. A nice flavorful brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(2nd Shenandoah Throwdown, hand bottle from New Hope, thanks Dickinsonbeer) Hazy amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, pineapple, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, pineapple, light catty, bread. Light-medium body. Very light body for an IPA -- APAish in that regard.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at New Hope. Poured a clear golden/orange with an average size white fluffy head. Aroma was balanced with caramel maltiness and citrusy hops. Flavor was harshly bitter with loads of grapefruit rinds and even a touch of spiceyness from the hops. Body finished almost slightly dry over a medium body. The hops on this one just came across to bitter with not enough balance for me to find this one enjoyable.
