3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a ruby to copper color with a medium head and good lace. The aroma is mildly floral with a kind of sweetness in the nose and a mild but somewhat grainy character. Flavor has a good malty sweetness at first then it is dry and roasty in the finish. This has a nice defined hop character and some good caramel and spicy undertones.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the Philly location: Slightly hazy amber with a dense creamy lacing off white head. Sweet malty aroma with light fruity notes- some pastry character. Creamy body with a sweet fore flavor- some caramelized German malts- a bit toffeeish. Fairly clean as well with a very solid and long tettnang peppery bitter finish. Pretty solid.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Philly. Pours a nice deep woody amber with a nice long lasting slightly off white head and killer lacing. Aroma is sharp toasted malts, caramel, earth, some leather, greenish hops, light tea and good toffee backbone. Flavor is upfront nutty, sharp toasted malts, caramel, and good sweetness, some leather and charred malts, light harshness comes through, some leafy hops, and a mostly clean yet somewhat roasty sharp finish. Pretty solid though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Like a Pilsner gone mad. On tap in Philly. Nice amber pour with a big fluffy head. Aroma was malty sweet with a bit of bitterness. Flavor was a Pilsner with a malt backbone. Nice and sweet up front with a very bitter finish. Very good for the hot weather.
