3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold, with lots of floating sediment. The large white head lasts well, but does not leave much lacing. Bizarrely enough, the main aroma is of methode champenoise cider, with some doughy yeast notes and maybe a touch of coriander. There is some spicy coriander up front, with some tangy orange peel in the mix. There is a tad too much yeast in the middle, but a nice coriander and apple finish redeems it somewhat. Not the best witbier out there, but passable enough.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours pale gold, thick head with large bubbles sinks pretty quick. Strong bread and banana on the nose. Aroma isn’t as deep as most belgian style beers are. Bready, thick, some spice.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: bright orange pour, thick with haze, and a creamy, fluffy white head. Aroma: white bread fresh from the oven, cloves, and scads of citrus. Taste: wheaty, with notes of dough and pie crust; tons of orange; additional notes of clove, yeast, and banana. Finish: creamy, tingly, with a slight zing. Notes: Now, I love a good Belgian wit. This was a great Belgian wit. Thick and creamy, but the carbonation, yeast, and citrus keep it light. Split it three ways, unfortunately, as I’d have liked to drink the whole darn thing. Fresh bottle from the Rare Beer Club.

Golden, looking filtered, clear beer with white head. Aroma of honey, citrus, fruit, organge, hop, yeast. Light sweetness, creamy, organges, hop, koriander. Light body, thin, with bitter, light fruity finish, could be a bit longer to make this beer better. Would drink again.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml. Barely discernible notches may indicate bb 05-2009?? Hazy, active golden-orange body with a lasting quarter inch of creamy foam. Aromas of rusty apple and spicy orange. Flavor is brown sugar, pear, lemon-orange, and apple cider with some funky earth spiciness and woody notes to balance. Tastes like a farmhouse ale; I think it really is 3 years past its prime as a Wit. Medium body is soft, smooth, and sweetish but fairly well balanced by the quick, pithy finish.
