COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Smells buttery and slightly fruity. Tastes again, buttery with a spicy finish, slightly tastes of citrus. Nice, crisp carbonation. Very nice, lighter, crisp beer.

Transfer from BA reviewed on 2-19-12 - Served in a pint glass Appearance – Served a hazy yellow/golden color with a nice white head. The head faded leaving only a very little lacing, but leaving a thin film on the surface of the brew which persisted throughout the drinking experience. Smell – The smell was quite interesting. There was some yeast and banana aromas mixed in with a nice wheaty backbone. The peppery aroma however when mixed with a bit of the banana and some of the other spices gave it a kind of bacon aroma as well. Taste – A peppery wheat flavor is the first to meet the tongue. There is a little bit of sweeter, lighter fruit that then comes into play; banana and some citrus. These lighter fruits are mixed with other spices such as cloves. The taste is then rounded out with a bit of hoppiness mixing its way in with the sweetness. Mouthfeel – A medium bodied brew with a mid to higher level of carbonation. Very appropriate for the style, but nothing really to out of the ordinary. It is easy to drink and very non-offensive. Overall – This is an easy drinking wheat beer. Good for the style, but nothing to really hold in the greatest of esteem.

Bleh! Almost not drinkable. As I power through this, all I can really taste are the overpowering cloves.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-yellow body. Classic banana clove yeast notes, coupled with some spicy Saaz balance. Almost has that red wheat thing going on. Medium bodied, Rather middle of the road, decent ingredients and no off flavors, but not really perfect for the style or that memorable of a beer.

Comes together nicely for a hefeweizen. Taste has light bubblegum and some bread yeast. Light coriander. Pours light cloudy orange. A little sweet on finish. Good package. Tap at DC Beer festival.

Rated on 7-30-2011 at Bock & Rock in Minster, OH. This beer pours a very small white head with a long retention, transparent pale yellow body, very little carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malt, wheat, some bananas, lightly spicy, and clove. The taste is sweet, malt, bananas, wheat, clove, and lightly spicy. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer is very easy to drink and is a session beer.

12oz bottle. golden color. Small white head. Banana smell. Fruity and sweet taste. Not a great aftertaste. Doesn’t compete with the German versions.
