COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 5/10/2013. Pours very hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big banana, lemon, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, bubblegum, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of yeast, hop, and malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big banana, lemon, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, bubblegum, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of banana, lemon, pear, apple, bubblegum, wheat, bread, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance, complexity, and robustness of malt, hop, and yeast flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, smooth, and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.8%. Overall this a damn nice Hefeweizen. All around good robustness, balance, and complexity of malt, yeast, and hop flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle thanks to Jason! Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of lots of earthy wheat with just a bit of banana and clove. Flavor has earthy wheat notes throughout with a bit of clove and banana towards the finish.

The strangest thing about this beer - the nutmeg and spice. But it works, and that coupled with the banana and bread make for a pretty unique hefe that is enjoyable.

Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Smells very malty, very spicy. The flavor simple, not too much going on. A little sour with an artificial banana candy after taste.

On draft in a glass. Pours an amber brown with little head. Taste is mostly of cloves and would pair well with bar food. Perhaps too much banana taste. Refreshing and easy to drink overall.

From a bottle. The good: fresh, crisp and well attenuated. The bad: to far on the clove side.

12oz into a mamoth Magic Hat Lucky Kat 25oz glass. Nice for a 500th review, I guess. Relaxing pour, harvest wheat at its best, malty, grainy, and a nice corn/starch melody. The malt balance withstands a few glances of the mind, but bringing forth the hops dip and then this brew sizzles. there is a nice bite to it that other wheats seldom hold, a tangy punch of malt and hops that is full frontal. Color is shaded orange with yellow upbringings and striped neon highlights. Head is mellow and fizzels out fast. A relaxing brew of the masses, but if you didnt know, this is an exemplery notch on the wheat scale.
