COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Not sure where I tried it first but ended up sharing it with family at Emily's 12th bday party. Had it on tap at The Grey Lodge Pub. Made me get this app ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hefeweizen is my least favorite style of beer. Hopefully I can rate this one without prejudice. The aroma smells of coriander or similar spice. I like the appearance. Golden yellow with a large white head. Not too full on the palate which is good because I don’t care much for wheat. Taste ok to me. Not picking up the coriander I thought was in the aroma. Someone that likes wheat beers might like this one more than I.

Pours hazy blond with an average head. A fair amount of carbonation. Sweet, banana/citrus aroma, richer in smell than many hefeweizens. Sort of close to a Belgian. The flavor is crisp and slight. Cloves, a little tang from the hops, and mild malt. This would be a good lawnmower beer.

On tap 4 oz. sample/flight at the Troeg's tasting room in Hersheypark, PA. Hazy, pale amber with an off-white head, wheat and bubblegum. Taste of lemon, peaches, banana, wheat and bubblegum. Light body and medium/low carbonization with a thin mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottles. This is a proper unfiltered wheat (pour the yeast in) that doesn’t use a neutral American yeast. Mellow, slight clove and banana taste. No detectable hop presence. Not too fizzy. Refreshing.

12 oz bottle, Kenny Road Market, $1.99. Hazy golden with a medium white head that disappears; no lacign. Aroma of bubble gum, banana, wheat. Light body. Flavor wheat, bready malt, banana. The finish is sweet with a clove and banana aftertaste.

Growler from Troegs into a wheat glass. Pour is a haze yellow with a nice full head. Aroma is that of bananas and malt. Taste is a nice banana sweet malt. Finish is a warm lasting fruit malt.

Not too familiar with American Wheats, but I had heard that they often taste of bananas. Banana in your beer? Yuck. Well, that’s what you get on the first sip of this one... I love Troegs other products, but, for example, Sierra Nevada naturally fermented hefeweizen to me is like a true weissbeir, and this Troegs product is pretty underwhelming. Still looking for my summer beer... Bottle, on sale, from Whole Foods
