3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Wheat beers are not my cup of tea but this was rather pleasing. Nice and chunky but not to overpowering with the clovey, gummy flavors. I enjoyed this dearly. Creative label, reminds me of "FREAKY JASON"..

A solid wheat the delivers. A perfect summer drink. Smooth and easy to drink. Fine example of the style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, from sampler pack. Decent. Probably the best American version I’ve had of a hefeweizen not made by a homebrewer. Still could use more weizen flavor.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2006 Good hefe by Troegs. Pours a yeasty -haze straw with a diminished head. Aromas of bananas, spice and confectioner’s sugar. Light cloves are interlaced with bananas and lemon. The finish shines forth more clove and spice predominance. Crisp carbonation gives this a cleansing mouthfeel; great for warm days and quite refreshing. Begs for another!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This brew apears golden and cloudy, its aroma seems sweeter than the flavor. The beer has a nice sharpness to it. very easy to drink, very smooth.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2010 12 oz Bottle: Pours a straw golden color with bubbly head, looks like a lot like a macro, only a nice lacing of carbonation keeps it from a low score. The aroma is of clove, wheat, bananas, and spices. The flavors are initially of pears, with a dominance of cloves, some hints of wheat, bananas, yeast and spices. Nice little carbonation kick/bite to a very smooth and good beer. I am liking everything I’ve seen from Troegs.
Damn you new label, you are not a new beer. Oh well.
I might say more pears ans spices than I did previously. Very belgian in nature.

The spice is very inherent and the bananas hardly noticeable. I would recommend if you’re a fan of the other Troegs brews or if you like wheat beers a lot.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not bad, i wish it was a little sweeter. it has the typical zesty spice of a hefew, but lacks the sweet citrus flavour I have come to expect. I like the colour, I wish it was hazyer, and I wish it was smoother.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy yellow-gold color with big white head that fades relatively quickly. Nose of sour lemon, faint banana, wheat, hay, and yeast. Flavors of all of the above, with a clean finish and mildly peppery throughout. A bit thin, it did not live up to its aroma, but very tasty and enjoyable nonetheless.
