COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

The waiter at the Hershey Hotel called this brew from the tap "Troegs Winter Wheat", but I’m assuming it was dreamweaver, since Troegs don’t acknowledge making a different ’winter’ wheat. A typical wheat/hefe. Lemony, light bodied, tangy, smooth medium bodied with a cloudy yeast imparting a neutral taste. Very average, not bad, but nothing particularly wintry about it and nothing really distinctive.

Bottle courtesy of kramer17801. Pours hazy golden yellow with rocky head. Up front yeasty wheat with some banana and pepper background. Flavor is all chewy wheat with banana and clove taking over throught the middle. Finishes very clean and smooth. Maybe a tad underated IMO.

I misse the entire point. Dish water I tell you. I don’t think a whole bussel of oranges could help. But by the ratings iI see here... the tap must have been filled with some crap so I... will try again. For now it is a square 50 BPS.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orange under a creamy 1/2" white head. Spicy, yeasty, and hoppy nose with plenty of wheat. Lighter notes of banana. Classic Hefe taste, yeasty and fruity with lots of bananas on the finish. Lighter bodied, nice lively and refreshing mouthfeel. One of the better domestic Hefes I’ve had, very tasty and refreshing beer. Happy to see an unfiltered beer from these guys. Keep ’em coming, please!

Bottle. Lots of wheat on the nose. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange/yellow with a light white head. Creamy and citric, but not enough banana and spice. Nonetheless, it was a nice wheat. Better on tap when I tasted it previously.

Good sized white fluffy head of fine bubbles. Very good carbonation. Big rotting hay aroma with plenty of wheat, grass and a large helping of corn. Color is a medium gold. Lively in the mouth. Fizzy with loads of corn again, some cereal and a bunch of spices. Some pepper and clove. Finish is dry and a bit tart. Some hops presence at the finish. A decent wheat brew. Just not favorite style.

Its not a bad hefe and I really dig Saaz hops with the added bready flavor. But I really have nothing more to add. I enjoy it for what it is but it lacks the amped-up spicy qualities that other wheat beers contain. I could drink lots of this though.

One of the best wheat beers I have ever tasted. Smokey oak embers, spicy, very wheaty and vary flavorful. Complex.

Quite opaque golden yellow, it gleamed in the light like a fine Sauternes dessert wine. Pearly white head, fugacious.
Bready, plenty of esters and bananas with a wheaty, oaty finale.
Light bodied, coriander, cloves and citrusy, a nice refreshing wit, maybe a little too cookie-cutter but nicely done.
