COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

BOD 3/2/15. Pours a slightly hazy golden. Outstanding head volume, normal lacing and retention. World class nose of clove, light banana and hints of pepper over a base of wheat and pale malt. Heavy light body, which is normal for the style, with a very smooth texture. Superbly carbonated with a rich prickly effervescence from the middle on. The flavor profile is borderline world class due to a slight lack of complexity. While intense and well balanced, it is clove focused and other hefeweizen aspects are rather subdued, such as banana. It begins with clove phenolics and they remain through the finish. The middle brings very slight banana, a nice grainy wheat aspect and only a hint of hops - no real bitterness to speak of. The finish is a slowwwww fade of the clove phenolic.

It pours golden with a healthy white head. Aromas of spices from the pepper and cloves are dominant with wheat and a bit of grassy elements. It is smooth with wheat flavors complimented by the hint of bananas, spices and yeast.

Is it possible to give this beer a zero? Based on other ratings I’m missing something because this is one of the worst beers I ever had. Bad batch maybe. Rare for me to drainpour but this one qualified. It was what I imagine cracking open a thermometer and drinking the mercury would taste like. And yes...the entire 6 pack tasted the same.

Citrus and yeast on the nose. Yeast, watery and light citrus taste. Light bitterness in the aftertaste that fills the upper part of the mouth briefly. Watery beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
