This is a very sweet beer. Tons of spice, lots of cloves and a decent amount of banana and orange. Tried in NYC in 2013.

Bottle. Aroma is spicy, nutmeg, clove, very yeasty, and bready. Flavor is slightly tart, slightly spicy, bready, yeasty, mildly sweet, wheat, malt, and mild banana.

This brew pours a hazy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat and bananas. Light-bodied with flavors of wheat, bready malt and banana. The finish is sweet with a clove and banana aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle @ home via trade with barak316. Thanks Bill! Pours a somewhat milky yellow orange appearance with a foamy white head. Spicy, nutmeg/clove, very yeasty, bready, bubblegum aroma. Slightly tart, quite bready yeasty, somewhat spicy, mildly sweet wheat malty, mild banana flavor. Fruity elements are held in check well. Solid American-made German Hefeweizen.

This beer definitely has a clove taste, if you are into that. I don?t usually go for this style or taste but my personal visit to Troegs tasting room changed that. It?s an interesting, unusual beer.

Apparence: La couleur est orangée légèrement voilée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes avec une pointe de céréales et de bananes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche.
