COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Golden color, hazy clarity. Head is diminishing with average lacing. Sweet fruit, wheat, floral. crisp-smooth, light carbonation, light-medium body, finish is quick-average. Fruit, wheat flavors. cantaloupe?, faint orange, other faint fruit flavors. But fruit is not overkill (i'm not a big fan of fruity beers) Taste while exhale = excellent. Very refreshing. One of the best wheat beers i've had ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2010 I had to rerate this beer after purchasing a variety case of Troegs year-round favorites. Obviously I didn’t realize at first just how delicious this wheat beer is. My score was more than just a little off! However, I think my tasting notes are pretty accurate, so I guess I’ll keep them. But the actual score of this beer deserved better.....and now it is! Cloudy deep golden color, tight but small white head, head disappeared rather quickly leaving only a small film around the edge of the glass, nice lacing, huge yeast presence in the nose along with some hints of clove & spice, lots of yeasty flavors in the body as well, hints of banana & bubble gum, as the beer warm more of the yeasty flavors were present, the yeast imparted almost a sour effect on the flavors & aftertaste, not a bad hefe

One of the best wheat beers I have ever tasted. Smokey oak embers, spicy, very wheaty and vary flavorful. Complex.

Pours golden and hazy just like a good unfiltered hefe should. I love the snap and spiciness thatthis offering carries with it. Like it with a lemon but it has, plenty of zestiness on its own. thumbs up in a world of too many bland wheat beers.

Cloudy, lively golden pour with a white head that hangs around forever. Crisp on the palate. Strong taste of cloves and banana. Very good.

0.5l Ramstein glass at Andy’s. Cloudy golden, nice thick white head. Clovey aroma. Malty flavors with clovey spices and slight banana. Great flavors. One of the better wheats that I have had.

Sweet banana nose. Opaque apperance. Sticky palate. Starts with smooth banana and a carbonation bite. Finishes slowly.

Dreamweaver is a bright yellow without much head but the aroma is a fresh citrusy sourdough bread. There is a slight puckering bitterness and the fullness of the wheat comes through. The palate feels medium to full bodied, but finishes clean and crisp. Dreamweaver is one of my favorite, if not best, hefeweizens.
