Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Nov 20, 2008 Draft @ Mad Mex: Gosh, this brewery is just really hit or miss for me. Duh, pours orange-amber with a very thick and aromatic head, like circus peanuts (the orange candy). Has the bittersweetness of ruby red grapefruit. Nice, sweet hoppiness to it, definitely drinkable, but smell is throwing me off. Almost smells like pixie stix powder. Hank1980 (734), Athens, Georgia, USA Oct 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours deep clear amber, with a small beige head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, and bread. Taste was hoppy and heavy on the malt. Very flavorful and drinkable. Finish is lightly bitter. Very solid. Mouth is lightly carbonated and smooth. uhclem (188), Loveland, Colorado, USA Oct 28, 2008 Very nice amber ale. Pours a deep amber with a small, evanescent beige head. Good lacing. Nose is a moderate mixture of pine and grapefruit, with a light overtone of yeast and bread. Taste is a coppery bitter melange of pine and caramel malt, with a little salt thrown in. Mouthfeel is slick and the finish reiterates the salt (but in a good way), and is fairly astringent with a great long bitter echo. cking (1012), North Canton, Ohio, USA Oct 27, 2008 Oh man this beer will cure what ails ya! Ripe grapefruit scent with plenty of lemon and pine on top of a layer of sweet caramel and roasted nuts. Dark amber almost brown in color with a 1’’ lasting head and heavy lacing. Middle of the road fullness, drinkable and it sticks with you. Crisp and snappy with a mild bitterness. Explosive flavor that tickles the buds. Lightly burnt malt that is nutty and has a good caramel taste. Fresh wheat bread and plenty of flowery hops providing a blast of citrus and evergreen. Astounding treat, I need a whole lot more of this around. KornDogg (171), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 27, 2008 On Tap at Troegs. nice simple hoppy ale, well balance, very refreshing... a10555 (123), West Chester, Ohio, USA Oct 26, 2008 A refreshing beer. A slight brown color with nice lacing on the glass. Has a nice nutty hoppy taste and finishes very smooth. An impressive brewery. emerson430 (87), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Oct 25, 2008 Nut brown color with a slightly off white, almost almond head. good lacing and nice nutty aroma. solid hop profile but not overpowering for the style. very drinkable Nephilium (541), Ohio, USA Oct 21, 2008 Nice hop aroma, with hints of citrus and freshly cut grass, backed with caramel malts. Pours a reddish-amber with a quickly fading light tan head. Nice chewy palate, full of hoppy goodness. Nice solid amber.
