Jun 17, 2008 Pours a reddish brown with red highlights and a fair fading tan head. Smells fresh hoppy, very similar to their pale ale. Tastes is floral piney hop with a malty backbone. Medium body with a nutty finish. Pretty good

Jun 15, 2008 Pours amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is caramel and a bit of hop citrus. Flavor is the same, some funk and skunk as well. Finishes mildly bitter.

Jun 12, 2008 Deep amber almost brown in color. The nose has aromas of sweet caramel, light citrus and stewed fruit. In the mouth it is medium-bodied and shows off the hops even in the midpalate which fades toward a soft, dry finish.

Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber/brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of sweet malt and flowery hops. Flavor of bitter flavory hops, light fruits. Very flowery (like soap!). I would like a stronger malt presence along with the strong hop addition. Still, a very enjoyable amber.

Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Aroma combining piney hops, diverse fruity esters, and rich malt. Flavor loses some of the diversity of the aroma, as some notes blend together, but still quite tasty. Very nice.

Jun 8, 2008 Bottle acquired as a bonus from mcferc4. Thanks again Rob!!! Crimson body with an eggshell colored head. Flavor is caramel and toffee but packs a bit of a hop punch that differentiates it from most ambers. The hops arent in the same league as Lucky 13, Green Flash Hop Head Red, or Speakeasy Prohibition but they are there. Very tasty. Wish I could get more from this brewery.

Jun 8, 2008 Pours a clear amber body with a thin sized head, a nice amount of caramel malts and floral hop aroma. Taste was soft, citrusy with subtle hop character all the way through. Finishes off dry.
