Mar 6, 2008 Thanks abcfan. Pours a copper orange with a two finger creamy orange head. Nice hoppy aroma, citrusy, sweet floral aroma. The flavor is very sweet and citrusy, nice caramel and a waxy mouthfeel. A nice amber. Had the same problem as Nugget Nectar for me, the mouthfeel was a little dead, kind of thin and no liveliness.

Mar 5, 2008 Troegs makes some fine craft beer but I do not like this for the pungent pine aroma alone. Great pour and color, decent body but the flower hops method just over kill to me. Just not my bag baby.

Mar 3, 2008 Draught at Hop Devil, NYC. Deep golden/amber color, offwhite head. Toffe aroma at fist, some fruit and some hops. Floral flavor, citric, fruity, elder notes, grassy, metallic, perfumje notes. Hoppy, grassy finish.

Mar 1, 2008 Thanks to abcfan for the bottle! Great stuff! Pours out a nice deep copper color with a great head. Aroma is of spicy hops. The taste and palate are the best part of this beer. It has a great spicy hop taste with a malty clean finish. It’s a great version of the style.

Feb 13, 2008 Aroma is quite hoppy, seems to be a touch of malt. Beer is clear, with a small head a few minutes after pouring. Good color for an amber. Flavor is quite hoppy, a good amount of bitterness, all well balanced with the malt flavor. Like an amber IPA.
