Poured a cloudy orangey amber with a foamy, creamy off-white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, small amount of ringed sticking.
Aromas of floral, citrusy hops with a subtle pine oiliness, a soft graininess with a touch of caramel.
Good carbonation and a crisp, dryish, smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
Dominating hoppy taste, soft pine, grapefruity with a light spiciness, an earthy leafiness, an underneath graininess, hints of caramel, a tad metallic towards the end and a dryish citrus and grain finish.
A nice hopped up amber ale, I personally could have used a little more of a malt backbone, but still very drinkable.

Pours an obvious amber hue with semi-translucency and a foamy white head. The aroma has plenty of biscuity notes and mild caramel sweetness and a distinct, piny hop character. The foundation is typical of an amber ale with sweet biscuits and a semi-buttery finish. The hops, however, are much more defined than the average amber. They are not very intense, as far as sheer strength, but they are very well pronounced in depth. Plenty of piny notes of cannibus add a nice acidic tone to the brew and the finish is reminiscent of a bit of bark. I didn’t feel this one leaned towards a grapefruit flavor like some of its counterparts do, which is neither good nor bad, really. This is a very nice take on the style. Amber pour with good hop aroma. The bitterness is blended pretty good with the malt. Not bad at all. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2006 Clear golden-amber body with a frothy, buff-colored head. Alluring aroma like spiced cake batter plus orange citrus hops. Great blend of malt and hop characters. Moderately sweet crystal malt, light candied fruit, some warm toastiness, and spicy hop flavor with subtle notes of tea. Palatable texture, but readily drinkable. A great amber ale when bright and fresh. Trooper11 (464), Suffolk, Virginia, USA

I believe I do detect the aroma of cascade hops in this beauty. Very hoppy aroma with sweet malty background. The delicious bitter hits your lips immediately. Great bitter hops and sweet malt combo. This stuff i s fabulous. Finishes very smooth and clean. goes down easy, not filling. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2006 Pours a deep amber color with a lovely thick white head. Lots of lacing throughout. Caramel nose with a hint of spicy hops in the background. The flavor is mostly sweet and malty with lots of caramel notes and just enough bitterness at the end to keep things interesting. Not exactly the most fascinating beer I’ve ever had but a great example of an amber ale. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper-amber coloured body with a small white head. The aroma is fantastic for what apparently is classified as an Amber ale. It’s very hoppy and there is some caramel, yeast, and bread substance. Flavourful spicey hops and a nice resinous bite...finishing with a flavourful of sweet bread.
