a: rubyamber color, nice frothy head with pretty good retention. Reduces to lacing and rings around the glass
s: citrus hop aroma hits like a sledgehammer, hint of caramalized malt
t: carmel malts not as much hop flavor as I was expecting from the smell. I notice a bit of pine taste.
m&d: smooth and pretty well balanced. medium bodied, this beer is an awesome session brew.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to shaker glass, pours clear deep amber. One plus finger light tan head. Nice lacing with moderate retention. Aroma of caramel and grapefruit. The taste has a moderate caramel sweetness which is balanced by an earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of caramel, sour apple, herbs, pink grapefruit, walnut and white pepper. A solid amber ale. I’ve had many of these in the past, can’t believe I’ve never rated it.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a gorgeous dark amber color and has excellent lacing. Smells almost of nothing.....Has a faint malt and hop aroma. Sadly, the taste translates from the aroma. Has a mild taste of hops but is mainly sweet and malty, but not overly so.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Drank from a pint glass poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Pours a beautiful dark amber color with little white head. Smells amazing, perfect aromas of citrus hops and nice maltiness. Tastes a bit bland though, would love some more malt flavor, a good brew nonetheless!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from the tap at the Blue & Gray Pub in Gettysburg, PA into a pint glass. This beer is a light copper color with a small tan head. The aroma is big on hops and citrus with a hint of pine. The flavor is full of hops and has that citrus finish. The brew is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A great ale.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours amber in color, faint head. The aroma is rich, brown sugar notes, some citrus. The flavor adds apples, coriander, and a faint, grassy burn from the hops. Not bad.
