Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 6, 2006 An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet and again dominated by caramel and hops, while the body is a bit thin. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 17, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pous a pretty amber with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Fruity and freshly hoppy nose. Rather light-bodied with some caramel and a discreet residual sweetness. Flowery, aromatic hop finish. Very delicate for an Amber - a style so often just middle of the road. Thanks to xproudfoot for this one. 150306 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 26, 2005 Bottled. Reddish amber, near no head. Lycheelike hop aroma. Roasty and dry with firm, clean, rounded mouthfeel that turns somewhat soapy in the end. Really hoppy, yet fairly balanced. Lingering bitter finish. A solid beer that scores high for being tasty and drinkable, but does not score the extra points for originality. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 16, 2006 Bottle.

fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 15, 2006 Nice amber color. Strong resiny aroma, but the mouthfeel is too thin, poor malt. Of course, strong ending resiny bitterness. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jan 19, 2003 Updated: Apr 8, 2008(4/8/08, 12oz bottle, thanks Peregrinari) Large and fluffy beige head atop clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit/orange, light pine. Taste is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit, caramel, light cookie. Soft, light-medium body with some resin. (8/4/7/3/14)
(1/19/03) Clear amber body with minimal tan head. Aroma is sharply cascade hoppy. Tasting it, I understood where the name came from -- it’s got a mild malty body, until you get to the strong HOPpiness in the BACK of the taste. Finishes with moderately sweet grapefruit that doesn’t linger. (8/4/7/3/14) Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 16, 2006 Bottle. Orange colour with a white head. Floral hop, citrus aroma and a light sweet floral hop taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.
