Taste is almost spicy. Flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body. Too good for an amber. It should be upgraded to at least a bock. ;-) crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

Aroma is victory malt all the way and floral hops. Flavor is Caramel, biscuit and floral hops. Real malty, I’m loving the crisp biscuit malts and combining with the floral hop aroma and flavor is really good. Damn this just taste good. Thanks Brian. haddon90 (1044), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 20, 2004 Clear copper color with hardly and head at all. Hoppy aroma. Citrusy, with some spicyness to it.I would think this would be an American Pale Ale, but anyway. Smooth. Hoppy flavor. Nothing complex about it. But it’s a pretty decent beer nonetheless. Bought this 12 oz bottle at Total Wine in Manassas, VA. brentfeesh (1042), Gadsden, Alabama, USA

Malty, grassy, semi-sweet aroma with a hop profile that I can’t quite place. The taste is very well balanced. In fact, I believe this is probably the best amber ale I’ve ever had. Light pine and spice hops blending perfectly with a creamy malt base. Light and smooth with a medium creamy body. Yum. This is a fine, fine amber. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Thick amber color with nice white head and lacing. Nice subtle hoppy smells. Decent mouthfeel. A hint thin but not bad at all - I would have it again. Bitter and hoppy taste that is quite enjoyable in this amber. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Oh man this beer will cure what ails ya! Ripe grapefruit scent with plenty of lemon and pine on top of a layer of sweet caramel and roasted nuts. Dark amber almost brown in color with a 1’’ lasting head and heavy lacing. Middle of the road fullness, drinkable and it sticks with you. Crisp and snappy with a mild bitterness. Explosive flavor that tickles the buds. Lightly burnt malt that is nutty and has a good caramel taste. Fresh wheat bread and plenty of flowery hops providing a blast of citrus and evergreen. Astounding treat, I need a whole lot more of this around. roder60 (1040), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2005 Pours a nice dark amber color with the perfect amount of froathy offwhite head that stays forever. Looks absolutely delicious. Aroma is a very nice sweet floral citrus smell, slightly caramely and piney at the same time. also delicious. Now time for the taste: flavor starts malty, sweet, and caramely then shifts geers into a pretty hoppy citrus flavor then back into a nice smooth hop/caramel finish. Overall, i found this to be extremely good. shawnm213 (1039), South Bend, Indiana, USA
