A well balanced ale. Nice head, great hops and smooth finish. A great all aroung beer.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Crystal clear appearence. The head disappeared quickly. Extremely smooth, not very complex in flavor but tastey nonetheless. I was expecting a little more spice. Kind of standard in many ways, but still worth a whack.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice amber pour, nose of caramel and pine resin-- fresh hops. Sweetness and body as you would expect greater than an IPA but well balanced by hops and carbonation. None of the cloying syrupy quality of many brown/amber ales. Goes down deceptively easily for a 6% beer.

a lot going on with this beer. not too much to say. I’ve had worse I’ve had better but all in all a solid drink. won’t leave a lasting impression but at least won’t disappoint.

Good body, good hop flavor. But not distinctively malty or sweet. I didn’t find this bitter either.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep amber color with decent head. moderate citris hoppy aroma. Resinous hops dominates a malty background. This is a gender confused beer that can’t decide if it wants to be a red ale or a pale ale. Almost like a watered down double pale ale.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from the bottle of a Troegs variety pack. If you really like hops but aren’t obsessed with them, then I think this is a good beer. It’s not overdone, but it is as hoppy as it should be.

On tap, this poured a good dark amber color, with a good whiteish head. Great hop smell, with a great hop taste, not to overpowering. Had a good malt bite also present. The head was perfect all the way down the glass. I would buy It again.

Loads of gratefruit and orange even. I really think this is a FANTASTIC beer! It is the prefect beer to bring over to a friends house to have a good time. Just bring more that one six pack...ah, make that a case.
