COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with native Pennsylvania neck pumpkins harvested just a few miles from our brewery at Strites’ Orchard, Master of Pumpkins conjures the spirit of autumn by combining roasted pumpkins and traditional pie spices with a French saison yeast. This natural fermentation releases a palate of vanilla, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, and honey. In addition to 750mL bottles, Master of Pumpkins is also currently available on draft and for take-out growler fills in the Tasting Room. Taste it you will see. More is all you need!

Bottle:   Deep amber, a little fiery, thin frothy tannish head, little lacing.   Spicy nose, definite cinnamon and nutmeg, along with some ginger and clove.   Plethora of spices on the tongue.   Clove and ginger are a bit stronger here.   Nutmeg and Cinnamon are a bit overshadowed, but come out a bit more after the clove and ginger die down.   This one is pretty tasty, not overdone, but certainly is a spiced kick.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Back of the throat just keeps that clove hanging around.   You want a plethora of spices, this is the beer for you!   Pretty tasty and bright!

Wow, quite delicious. Pours dark amber thick but somewhat clear with a whitish ring for a head. Aroma brings a rush of fall spices in mixing nutmeg and subtle cinnamon sticks and cloves smooth and soft in the nose. Flavor brings big clove and some nutmeg and cinnamon settling on the palate. There is a calm sweetness settling to suggest pumpkin.

Sample pour on tap at brewery in Hershey. Pours a lighter brown with some cloudiness. Aroma of cinnamon and spice. Brown sugar notes as well. Taste is sweet yet balanced by a dry and slightly bitter finish. Not too overdone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25 oz. bottle. Pours a deep amber with an off-white head that settles to a thin film. Plenty of pumpkin-ale spices, really picking up the clove and a bit of sourness. Medium-full body, taste is a little heavy on the clove, probably the heaviest taste I'm getting. Also getting some fresh pumpkin as well. It's good, but I couldn't do more than one, although I can't do more than one of many pumpkins. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thank you Michael. The beer is copper to amber hued with a small, broken, off-white head. The aroma highly potent dose of pumpkin flavor. Perhaps a note of brown sugar. Incredibly sweet and forthcoming. Nothing subtle about this one. Only a few ounces is needed. Sweet and cloying after only a couple of drinks. Good idea, but this is certainly best in small samples.

Served on-tap at the brewery.

A - Pours murky brown with a small half finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty strings of lace down the sides of the glass.

S - Smells of pumpkin pulp, nutmeg, ginger, touch of cinnamon, dash of light funk from the saison yeast and some mild caramel and toffee from the malt.

T - Starts off with the pulpy pumpkin quickly being enveloped by the various pie spices, light funk and the mild toffee and caramel sweetness. Finish is rather spicy, lingering long after the finish.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, spicy feel throughout. The booze is rather well hidden, only really coming out of the shadows once it comes to room temperature.

O - A rather nice pumpkin beer. I prefer them to have less spice than actual pumpkin flavor, and this one follows that pretty well. If you like Pumpkin beers this is definitely worth seeking out.
