Feb 20, 2009 Great beer. I would probably be saying this is my my favorite IPA except I just had a Hopslam which is a very similar beer.
This beer is sweet and slightly bitter. The hops create almost a juice presence of floral. Amazing beer. Well worth any money you put down on this one!

Feb 18, 2009 Lost my notebook last night so im going tro do this from my head. Pours orange with some dark amber and brown. Reminds me of the color of the label. Awesome floral/pine hop aroma with subtle graprefuits notes but predominantly floral. Extrordinary flavor, very earthy, pine, sweet not overly bitter for the high level of IBU"s.

Feb 17, 2009 Bottle from Hyde Park Wine.
Poured clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration.
Very good brew.

Feb 16, 2009 I think I rather aptly explained the aroma as being a resiny pine branch that was left in my armpit for a while and got tangy. Poured a beautiful golden-copper color with a one-finger head that stuck around for a little while. The flavour was HOOOPS with, what’s the word? HOOOOPS blended in for a distinctly hoppy experience. Finish was bitter. I am not a huge fan of the IPA style, so this bitter hoppy IPA was not for me.

Feb 15, 2009 Now this bills itself as an "Imperial Amber" but it’s difficult not to judge this against a DIPA. With that in mind, this is probably the hoppiest beer I have had. Carbonated and hard grapefruit juice. This gets thrown in with Hopslam, but i think the slam is the superior brew.

Feb 15, 2009 Color a little clear, orange. Hop character is quite delicious. Really has that citrusy-grapefruit character to it. Resinous, but not overpoweringly bitter or harsh. Very smooth. Nice malty body, however I noted that it was a little watery on the finish, probably the only thing that detracts from this rating. Floral, tart, citrusy, just a very good IPA.

Feb 15, 2009 Bottled. Pours tawny, with an arangy tan head. Citrusy, piny nose. Flavor is resin, citrus, pine, and alcohol. A Wonderfully bitter, resiny, oily finish. Great stuff.

Feb 14, 2009 Updated: Mar 8, 2009Big thanks to ucusty. Pours a glowing orange amber with a small off white head that leaves a spicy lacing. Aroma perfectly combines citric hops with floral and honey elements. Flavor follows, sweet, hoppy, bitter, floral, perfectly harmonized. Nothing here is off or overbrewed. Medium to full body, silk smooth on the palate with a pleasant hops fire.
