Superb brew. Clear light copper with a decent, smooth off white sticky head. Smells of orange peels and fresh cut grass. Sticky hop bitterness all over the palate, tastes of oranges, grapefruit, and other sweet fruit. Big smooth toasted caramel malt flavors. Drinks great, nice crisp hoppy finish. Great beer.

Thank you After4ever/Tom. It’s a golden amber color and the head is nice and creamy. The aroma if full of fruity hops with notes of papaya, oranges and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness with notes of tangerine, papaya, caramel, citrus, hints of pine and a long and slightly bitter finish, where some grapefruit turns up. It’s a very smooth and harmonic beer – very nice indeed!!

Bottle courtesy of abcfan, pours hazy light copper wth half finger white head. Aroma is beautiful hops and taste is sweet with bittter hops finish. The hops does not linger or overpower the beer. Great balance. Wish I could find these where I live.

As reviewed on 3/12/06 Pours orangy-gold, clear, with a substantial, dense, off- white head. Retention is short-lived, revealing moderate curtains. Multiple, expanding strands of ultra-fine Co2 sustain a meager coating on the surface. Aromatics are floral and pungent. Some light caramel notes suggest that some malt exists in the lupuline elixer, but it remains in the shadows. The nose is awash with fresh citrus fruits, candied apple, garlic, and peaches at the base of a pine sapling. Further pondering brings forth visions of kindbud swaying in the breeze, after a spring rain, in a freshly mown tangerine orchard. Mouthfeel is thinnish, and creamy with an appitizing dry crispness. A sudued, smooth bitterness, sets the foundation for a substantial base of fresh, leafy hops on the pallet. Exceedingly fruity with a very earthy personality. Sugared tangerine segments harmonize with orange oils and spruce dew. A lingering finish- with a continued drying bitterness, a mild warmth, and a suggestion of nugget pulp. Drink up boys, the hoppy ones lose a lot of glory in the first month or two. Revisited 5/9/08 Clear copper with a two-inch head of porous off-white head that quickly falls. Spongy lacework remains. Fresh tangerines, mandarin oranges, cut grass, and peaches in the nose. Medium bodied and sticky. Crispish with some tacky residuals. Loads of tropical fruit on the pallet. Fresh mandarin, lush orange blossoms, pine dew, and mangoes. A firm malt base makes for a great balance, and bitteness is low for such a hoppy one. Finishes with lingering tropical fruit and a hint of alcohol. What an incredibly drinkable, hoppy, and fun beer to drink. A freshly draught pitcher would be bliss. Impossible not to drink the whole six-pack quickly!

Pours a nice copper amber with a thick fluffy white head. Very floral, citrus, cascade hop aroma. Taste is nice hoppy and bitter but with a great drinkibilty. A nice maltiness hides somewhere deep in the taste. Finishes with a a little bitterness, much than I thought considering the aroma. Very nice.

Immediate hop attack on the olfactory sense on opening of bottle. Pours a medium copper/amber color with good white head that diminished to white film over top. Hop aroma is strong and begs you to drink this beer. Flavor is intense hop explosion. Mouthfeel is great and drinkability is high. Great beer.

Amber color with a thin head on top. Intoxicating aroma of hops that bite at first taste but receed to a nice smotth finish. One of the best I’ve had so far.

12 oz. bottle. Pours clear amber-orange with a nice stand of off-white head which leaves sticky lace. Aroma is all pungent citrus (grapefruit) and piney hops with just a bit of honey sweet malt in the back. Bitter but nice hop forward flavor. Dry but very flavorful with a good malt backbone for balance. Moderately high prickly carbonation, medium full bodied, and smooth. Very nice hop-fest/big IPA beer.
