A delicious, hoppy but not too hoppy IPA. Golden amber in a pint, a little sweet, a little bitter, just right. Very drinkable and very much worth buying some of.

12oz bottle. Pours amber color with a nice off-white head. I think this is a couple months old. Wish I could try it fresh but I gotta do what I gotta do. Aroma reminds me of a subdued Hopslam. Sweet, thick fruity hops balanced by a noticeable hop presence. A nice smell though it doesn’t pack the punch that a fresh bottle probably would. Taste is smooth, very drinkable, surprisingly subdued in its bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. This is a very, very drinkable beer. I could see myself drinking a bunch of this. I liked this and hope to try a fresh bottle in the future.

Bottle from R-Dog. Pours a clear crisp amber with a swifly settling head. Tangerines in the nose. Lacing minimal. body and mouthfeel are well balanced and not overly hoppy. Make no mistake, the hops are there in force but are not dominant. Went down abnormally fast. A fine pint.

Merritt Island Throwdown ’08: Bottle, courtesy mcbackus. Pours a reddish amber color, with a sticky white head. Hazy braids of lacing. Citrus hops, very aromatic and draws you into each sip. Assertive hoppiness in the flavor, with grapefruit and citrus. Bittered well. Easy to drink, and quite full of a nice hop profile. Delicious and refreshing.

12 oz. bottle. Clear orange pour with a red tint. Some carbonation and a tiny white head. Wonderful aroma of piney hops with lots of citrus fruit, perhaps some mango and pineapple as well. Slightly sweet taste, perfectly balanced by the bitter hops. A little bit of malt. Quite fruity as well. Could use a bit more carbonation

Bonus from adrian910ss (Thanks Adrian!) Beautiful pour of amber/copper with an off white head that was gone before I could describe it. Nose is very hoppy and pine. Flavor is quite nice with an amber, malty sweetness along with a dry hoppiness. Good stuff.

Can’t belive I have not rated this beer yet, as I’ve had it dozens of times. Anyway, it pours a clear clean amber color with sweet juciy hop aroma.Fresh juciy hop flavor with light malt thrown in to keep some sort of balance. This beer just drips with hop flavors. This year was better than last year.

Pours a yellow, orange-red into a pint glass with ¼ inch white head. Fairly clear with only a tint of cloudiness. Smell of crisp hops accentuated with citrus. First sip is a bite of hoppy bitterness that does not fade. Nicely carbonated. A fine, fine Hoppy Ale. Bring on the Thai food!
