grandet (477), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2007 Updated: Feb 1, 2008Bottle: Nice orange red pour, with a ton of hop flavor through out. very good garthicus (1215), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 27, 2007 Bottle, Orange-red hue, flimsy head. It has a citrus hop flavour with a long bitter sweet finish. NICE SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Sep 20, 2007 In the bottle from Inari Wines. Pours a bright orange amber with a small white head. Outstanding aroma of Tootsie-roll-like oranges and chocolate. This has more of a floral and less of a citrus hop aroma. Delicious taste! Thick chewy malty body. Great oranges and chocolate flavor to match the aroma. There’s a huge malt sweetness that bears the brunt of the high hops. Sure, this has big malt, but it also has big hops. It’s balanced, but it’s crazy amped-up balance. In fact, you might say that this one goes to eleven. sirpsycho (342), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 10, 2007 Updated: Oct 29, 2007Bottle. Aroma is citrus / pine / grapefruit. Flavor is more of the same. Very well balanced beer. A good session beer. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Sep 6, 2007 12-ounce. Thanks, FranksnBeans! This is a dandy one. Pours medium coppery with a thick, moussy white head that leaves huge sheets of white lace on the way down. Lovely. Big piney nose with lots of mango and grapefruit dancing in with it. Nice medium body, active carb, and hop-forward goodness to the flavor on the attack. The mid-palate boasts more of everything we’ve already seen; tingly carb, lots of pine and fruit. The malt notes are understated, really just there in support, but there’s a hint of caramel and nut to balance the flavor perceptibly as well as subliminally. Nice clean fresh natural piney finish. Awesome. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Nugget Nectar

WankerWeasel (18), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Aug 8, 2007 Pours a nice hazy golden yellow color with a nice big foamy off-white head sitting on top of the brew. The foam sticks around and some settles. Thick layers of bubbly lace cover the walls of the glass and a nice layer of thick foam resides on the top of the beer. Sweet malt comes through but is quickly overpowered by a killer pungent fruity hop aroma. Lots of smooth citrus like grapefruit and lemon. Touch of pine and a hint of berry in the distance. Just a slight hint of alcohol can be picked up at the very end of the nose. Smooth rich malty body with a nice touch of sweetness to it. Hint of caramel in there. The aftertaste has a very nice sweet hoppy flavor with grapefruit and apple coming through. Little bit of hoppy bitterness and then a strange metallic flavor at the very end. Not sure what the deal with that is. Smooth and slightly sweet at the end. No sign of alcohol in the taste. Tasty stuff, not sure what the deal is with the metallic taste. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 4, 2007 Bottle pours a slightly hazy light orange/amber. Lots of nice pine and citrusy aroma. Light malt notes as well. Big hop flavor and plenty of bitterness. Nearly a Double I’d say. Just enough carmely malts to balance, but leaving the dominant hops to maintain top billing. Slightly papery. Not very dry, and softly carbonated. Modest lingering bitterness.
