Pours a light amber color with a foamy head. Strong pungent aroma of pine and some citrus. Strong hoppy flavor with light malts, and citrus

Love the bottle, squeeze that hop juice out. Not overally hoppy though, quite sweet with enough malt to balance er out. Pretty good stuff

Bottle (Lars). Unclear orange - white head. Caramel, sweetness, ambermalty, bread, nice but medium hoppy. A bit boring, but nice.

Big thanks to axilla for this one. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a white head. Smells of hops with pinapple. The beer is medium sweet and tastes mostly of hops with some fruity flavors of pinapple and grapefruit. Also some amber malts and eldeberry flour hints. Medium carbonation and body. Slightly dry and pilsnerish towards the end. Very bitter finish with some fresh hopsnotes. I had an older bottle (different label) a few weeks ago it seemed much more maltier. Nice with the IBU# on the bottle. Good stuff.

Bottle, at csbosox KC tasting 4/14, purchased at Oak Tree in NJ. . Pour is golden, with a slight haze. Aroma is hop, balanced with the malt. Taste is sweet malt at the start, that turns hop / bitter towards the end. Nice beer, interesting taste.

Crystal clear amber with not much to speak of in head. Really clean hop aroma. Lots of pine. The flavor seemed more earhy. Maybe a touch of pine. Really kind of thin and oily. The bottle said imperial amber. I dig it.

From a bottle pours almost orange with no real amount of head. Nice hop flavor, good finish.

bottle.....poured a transparent orange-brown with very thin, short-lived head...aroma: hoppy but very mellow and subdued, i would agree on the musty sensation received by some as wel....taste: doesn’t make my mouth pucker and it has a good balance of malt. body was medium with mild carbonation.....not a bad ipa by any means.

had this again from a left over bottle from DLD09....good dose of piney hop resin and caramel in the nose. flavors maintained a nice bitter feel to it with a decent sweet caramel backbone. bitterness lasts long past the swallow.
