A smooth bready like grapefruity flavor with a very nice medium finishing bitter. Medium/full bodied beer with very good carbonation. A nice drinkable beer that is too easy to drink at 7.5. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 6, 2009 The aroma is big rich sweet hops. The pour is a light clear amber with a small yellow hued head. The Hops donimate the flavor, sweet, only a hint of pine and cirtus. The finish is sharp and clean. And excellent beer. baraciisch (138), USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Golden orange in color... Totally hoppy aroma... Tastes like a sweeter, maltier ipa with citrus and floral notes... Has the same gentle bitter finish of an IPA, kind of surprised they classified it as an amber, apparently they call it an IPA on ratebeer though... Pretty good beer.. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2009 Cheers to my neighbor Matt. Bottle pours reddish-orange, bright, with orange-tinted and thick frothy head. Very fruity nose like sweet mandarine and pineapple. Tastes fairly juicy-sweet before rolling into a serious, sticky, long-lasting bitterness. Like candy for hopheads, I guess. Great juicy aroma but suffers from a tongue-coating lack of drinkability after about half a glass. beernbourbon (261), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 28, 2009 Thanks to jason/CaptainCougar for this one. Pour is clear amber color with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is gigantic hop, mostly pine. A touch of caramel malt on back end. Flavor is more malty than nose led me to believe. Hops are more evident shortly after malt kick and linger. Finish is piney hop and cinnabon. Certainly well balanced, I find myself chugging this one. Maddog (234), Kettering, Ohio, USA

Pours a clear amber with an aroma of fruit and hops. It is a great tasing beer with fruit, malt and an abundance of citrus hops. This IPA is rather balanced. There is not a lot of bitterness, but the flavor hops really exert themselves and create a wonderful beer. manuchampions (103), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2009 12oz bottle. Lovely aroma on opening. Pours a light amber with a thin head with good lacing. Sweet, bitter hop aroma. Wonderfully balanced hop/malt profile with biting west coast hops lingering after a crisp malt backing. Solid offering and very drinkable. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2009 Clear deep amber color with a foamy lasting head. Nutty caramel malt is nearly overpowered by the floral and citrus hops in the aroma and flavor. Well carbonated, lively on the palate. Among the better IPA’s. Very good stuff!
