Bells 2HA, Green Flash WC-IPA, & Troegs NN. Not as hoppy as the aforementioned titans, but balanced & enjoyable none the less. Agree with others that it’s aroma & mouthfeel are more like a DIPA or Imperial. I will look for this again. Jsawyer (282), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Hallelujah! The body literally looks like a piece of effulgent amber. The aroma is unforgettable; hops, hops, hops, and then some hops. Yet somehow its balanced; it’s an Imperial Amber not an IPA. So the flavor won’t floor you. It’s smooth hoppy crisp, pine and grapefruit, amber malt, maybe even a little chocolate in there. Don’t expect a huge amount of bitterness here. Palate is medium bodied. You can drink this stuff forever. Just amazing. HonkeyBra (1319), Lemont, Illinois, USA

I don’t really get the insane hoppiness I was expecting out of the beer. Pretty good, just not flooring, like i expected. CheersMate1 (785), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 25, 2009 Nice orange transparent color. Awesome malt and imperial/double aroma. Color is ok, but the aroma is amazing. For an IPA this thing screams Imperial/double. Picked up at Brawleys in Charlotte, North Carolina. Was thrown in the purchase for free. Awesome pine/citrus grapefruit aroma. The taste has a nice bittering hop. This is an amazing beer. Has a perfect bittering hop. The flavoring hop is not as amazing, but for an IPA this is excellent. Nice smooth palate. Overall, one of the best IPAs that I have ever had. The palate is nice and thick for just a plain IPA. Great beer; get this if you see it. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Peppery pine hop aroma. Small beige head with clear dark amber colour. Smooth deep spicey pine with bitter pine aftertaste. A bit less full-bodied then I expected. livelaughlovep (96), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Aroma: Citrus, pine, spice
Appearance: Amber-Orange, thin head, lots of lacing.
Flavor: Nice hoppy bitterness, with a good balance from the sweetness & malt. Citrus (Grapefruit, lemon?) and pine-oil.
Palate: Solid body, nice mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Reminds me of HopSlam in a way - as if HopSlam just turned 30 and settled down with a wife and kids. Its much more mellow, but really similar flavor. Hard to find here in OH or I’d love to find more. Really great, balanced brew. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
