Shared with Bartzilla @ Saturday night death metal tasting. Of the 9 or so beers we tasted, this was one of our favorites. Very citrusy, floral, hoppy. Great amber color. Taste was perfectly balanced. A very nice beer.

Bottle. A freebie, thanks to the big guy at Big Z Beverage. Moderate malt aromas of roasted, caramel and bread, light to moderate hop notes of orange and pine, light soap for the yeast, with hints of pepper, date, brown sugar and some spice. Head is small, frothy, slightly off-white with excellent lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic and bitter, then finishes with a long bitter taste, and some acidity and sweetness before it. Palate is medium, watery, with a lively carbonation and a very dry finish. A superb IPA, bordering between a sipper and an easy drinker.

Nice orange transparent color. Awesome malt and imperial/double aroma. Color is ok, but the aroma is amazing. For an IPA this thing screams Imperial/double. Picked up at Brawleys in Charlotte, North Carolina. Was thrown in the purchase for free. Awesome pine/citrus grapefruit aroma. The taste has a nice bittering hop. This is an amazing beer. Has a perfect bittering hop. The flavoring hop is not as amazing, but for an IPA this is excellent. Nice smooth palate. Overall, one of the best IPAs that I have ever had. The palate is nice and thick for just a plain IPA. Great beer; get this if you see it.

Heavy hop aroma, earthiness is also evident. Extreme hops in the taste, very evident compared to other beers of this style. Some cheese seems to also be present.

Copper pour with a frothy off-white head. Pine/grapefruit/floral hop aroma. Flavor initially sharp, marked by pine and grapefruit hops. After a bit it comes across as more orangey with a smooth and even tea-leaf hop bitterness. Nicely put together east coast IPA.

Bottle. If you dont know what CAT PISS smell´s like then buy this beer and the aroma will give just that smell. But if you can go past that, this is a good beer.

12oz bottle. Finally get to try this brew thanks to Mrchoppin. Pours hazy amber with thin off-white head. Aroma is strong with citrus, hops, caramel and a touch of pine. Flavor is bitter hops, grapefruit, sweet malts and caramel. More malt than I thought there would be. Could use some citrus hops for my palate. Like this better the Hopback but was expecting a little more. Pretty solid brew though.
