COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Squeeze those hops for all they’re worth and prepare to pucker up: Tröegs’ newest single batch brew, Nugget Nectar Ale, will take hopheads to nirvana with a heady collection of Nugget, Warrior and Tomahawk hops. Starting with the same base ingredients of our flagship HopBack Amber Ale, Nugget Nectar intensifies the malt and hop flavors to create an explosive hop experience.

While the brewery considers this an "Imperial Amber Ale" RateBeer considers it an IPA due to the hopping rate. There is no need to send any other corrections on the style.

Bottle. Pours a medium amber with a thin fizzy head. Good lacing on the glass. The aroma is of piney hops with a hint of sweetness. The flavor is all hops, with a hint of malts. A very bitter finish that lingers on. Medium mouthfeel makes this very easy to drink.

Amber color with big white head. Aroma is piney, caramel malt, very intense. Taste is more of the same, oily mouthfeel, quite rich, lots of forest. Bitterness is not too heavy, quite good!

Pours clear amber, small white head. Smell is very fruity, mango, full. Taste is sweet, bitter, fruity, mango again, together with a pine aspect. Bit bitter, clear crispy amber malty taste. Nice

Aroma is deep caramels, malts, pine needles and that odd slight smell of compost that I think appear in all red ales. Taste is actually awesome, which I was totally unprepared for. Big hoppy sensation with heavy malts. Incredible bitterness for being this style, and if you are going to brew a red ale / amber ale, hop that shit to kingdom come just like Tröegs . Awesome! And I don’t even like amber ales?

One of the best tasting beers out there. Huge hop aroma, great malty backbone, slight sweetness at the end. So drinkable.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2015 BIF project. Burnt orange pour. Big caramel malt sweetness immediately giving easy to a huge candied citrus rind hoppy aroma. Nicely balanced with some resin and floral hop bitterness. Smooth. Very good IPA.

Tastes like it was already ingested and then ass pissed back into the bottle. It makes Coors light taste like heaven!
