Extremely bitter. Has a orangish brownish color to it. Can really tastes the hops and has a strange aroma to it. Not a fan, if you don’t like hoppy beers stay away

Bottle courtesy of Falco242. Rich, sweet, fruity, hoppy aroma. Slightly hazy dark amber body. With a thin off white to almost tan head and excellent lace. My wife was drinking a beer she thought was excelsior lonely blonde and one look at it and I knew it wasn’t. Turns out a.bottle of ballast point sculpin was in a 6-pack carrier of lonely blonde and she didn’t look at the bottle while she was pouring. Anyway, I tasted it just before this and then realized we were both drinking 100-100 beers. This one certainly matches up to the sculpin. Perfect balance, piney hop, yet with a fruity, floral finish. Truly outstanding.

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Bright amber orange color. Medium-sized rocky beige head. Nice clinging lace. Earthy toasted malt aroma has notes of floral hops. Creamy mouthfeel with a delicious malty caramel and nutty character. The hops are the star here, with a subtle resiny presence takes over and dominates the mid taste and finish. There is a symbiotic balance that makes for a wonderful and complex IPA. Outstanding and worth seeking out!

Copper to orange. Thin off white head. Bright citrusy aroma. Enormous floral hop flavor obliterates any malt in place. Bit of a dry finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured into pint glass. Amber with a finger of pillow like head, off white in color. Smells awesome! Loads of fruit (mango, peach, honeydew, cantaloupe, grapefruit) then it ends with a earthy hop aroma. Tastes of fruit, earthy, and malt comes in the finish. The palate is lightly carbonated and has a medium light mouthfeel. This beer is really great, I would definitely drink this again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep copper, small white head. Big citrus aroma, loads of resins, and sweet caramel malts. Perfect mouth feel, solid carb. Incredible balance between the hops and malts. One of the most balanced ipas ive had in a while.

Amber/honey colored, clear, tall and persistent head. Yeasty, earthy nose. Full body, intense malt flavor, rich, good carbonation, assertive but smooth and very well balanced mouthfeel. Long, actually lingering palate, fruity finish. Bitter but not dry, Hoppy, emphasizing bitterness, more than aromatics, as the style demands. Not my favorite style but a delicious beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle as shown thanks to Lee. Pours a cloudy orange copper with thick off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong floral hop and honey. Medium mouthfeel with sweet hop and light bitter finish. Very good.

Bottle shared by the doubly awesome folks at Lazy Dog. Pours a nice amber with a layer of cream colored head. Aroma of yummy hoppiness. Taste of hops with a nice pine aftertaste.

Bottle from a trade. Pours a deep copper color. Has a amber lager type smell. Not a whole ton of flavor. An amber almost lager like flavor following up from the aroma. With a hop finish. These specific flavors are so strong I find it hard to call it an IPA. Great for the style if you would consider it an amber. Not being my favorite style to say the least. Overall not bad. Was definitely expecting more though.
