A Big Thanks to willblake for sharing! pours a glowing amber with a nice flothy white head. hints of earthy hops, soil, citrus, and caramel malts in the nose. Lots of malt and hops in the flavor. A very nice hoppy amber ale. Not quite as hoppy as most IPA’s and I like it. Its a nice change. Very well balanced beer. Thoroughly enjoyed. Make this available in Massachusetts! Thanks again, Jon! yobdoog (1543), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Last time I was at the brewery I was told they make more as a seasonal then they would if it was year round. Nice Hoppy aroma with some spices. Very tropical with lots of fruit. Some pine and citus hops with some malt balance. Creamy and delicous body. Would like to age some to see what happens to the hops. Awaiting the new release. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 18, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours an ultra clear dark gold with a big white head. Big, lovely floral nose, some pine resin. Thick lacing all the way down the glass. Flavor is, again, floral, some veggie notes, and a piney hoppiness. Finish is bitter, but not overly so, touches of citrus sweetness. Really a nice drinker, you can put away several easily! cbrixius (136), Newberrytown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 21, 2006 For some reason this skyrocketed into one my favorites based on this seasons batch, which seemed to outpace last years in hoppiness and clarity. The first impression I had was how clean this beer appeared. It was the clearest I had seen a beer in a while. The head was a nice white. You did not have to tip your nose in to get the hop aroma, as it is overpowering. This "hop soda" definitely explodes in your mouth, leaving you wanting more. beerbomb (172), New Jersey, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 2, 2006 2006 batch-This is probably my favorite IPA to date-everything about an IPA aroma wise is here and molded together so smoothly. Aroma is sweet pine, very much pink grapefruit juice-excellent combination of aroma hops. Flavor lingers and doesnt fade-massive sweet grapefruit, bitterness, maybe even a little peach. Palate is clean, not sticky sweet and retains flavors. Overall very bold, sweet flavors-everything works in harmony. For an IPA, this is top notch. Rciesla (3915), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Aromatics are earthy, honey, pine, grapefruit and a nuance of citrus. Thin malty caramel with some mild piney sticky earthy bitterness. A bit dry with some mild hop resins. Extremely awesome IPA, huge fan. csuders (30), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

Pretty nice carbonation from start to finish. The aroma is fantastic. Smells of sweet hops and has a light grapefruit and malt flavor. I remember the day when I did not care for IPA’s. Damn fool I was!!!!!!!!
