Pours to a beautiful. bright, light amber color, with a thick, white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is very fragrant with lots of zesty citus hop aromas of lemon and grape fruit. The palate is firm with some good sweet and caramel malt, paired with a nice back drop of candied citron hop flavor. Nugget Nectar finishes with more candied hop flavor up front, then ends with a zesty, pungent burst of lemon and grape fruit hop bitterness that lingers on the tongue. Impressive beer which really showcases hop aroma, flavor, and bitterness. A perfect aperitif beer. beerczar69 (39), Pennsylvania, USA

Smells of orange peels and fresh cut grass. Sticky hop bitterness all over the palate, tastes of oranges, grapefruit, and other sweet fruit. Big smooth toasted caramel malt flavors. Drinks great, nice crisp hoppy finish. Great beer. snackle (3), , New Jersey, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 4, 2008 this is one of my favorites which i haven’t seen anywhere locally in a bit :( delicious ale with a great orange/lightish copper complexion and a thick, thick creamy head that remains long after the pour. has a definite citrus flavor with a perfect balance of bitterness. i love it! sigma23 (240), , Maine, USA

The color is a clear, deep amber color with a very foamy white head with some really nice lacing.
The smell is very hoppy, smelly like fresh cut grass the floral hop flavor is very present. Very good flavor.
The taste is brimming with hops and some really nice citrus feel to go along. Is very tart but sweet with some with nice bitterness to even out the fruit flavor.
The feel of this beer is like an IPA even though it is a amber ale. It is full of flavor and feel smooth going down with just a slight aftertaste.
