0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Ok this beer is much better than .5 however when I went into the shop there was a 2 six pack limit on this shit, so I figured it must be good. What the F is the hype over this crap. It basically tastes like any Sam Adams ale or any other run of the mill shit like that. Not even hoppy AT ALL. So because I got raped by their marketing scheme they get .5 pts. Trust me this beer is average.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. Amber with one finger head. It’s a hopped up amber with nugget and other piney hops. Pretty solid for an amber, but for a 100/100 rated beer, I’m a bit confused where all the love is coming from. very solid, just not exceptional to me.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
East coast IPA (instead of the usual west coast) with thick, sticky, yellowish white head and deep amber colour with coppery hue. Very strong hops aroma but in a mild, floral and herbal way, grapefruit, bitter honey, meat broth, peach, rosewater, freshly grated ginger, pepper. Smooth, resinous, fresh citrussy fruitiness, peach, honeyish, bit caramelly in the background, supple, hints of thyme and sage, very long sticky, green, oily, herbal hop bitterness in the finish, dry-hopped. Delicious throughout, if you’re into this style like me.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly hazy dark orange with a half finger if off white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits with a decent caramel backbone. Taste is heavily bitter. Follows aroma with the addition of grapefruit. Full bodied with a surprisingly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Lives up to the hype.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Keg at Munich Taphouse, 23rd July 14. An amazing looking beer, beautiful soft head and dark amber colour, very inviting. The aroma is pine and undertones of sweet malt. Flavour is spot on smooth and a great malt backbone complements the hops. Really great

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy amber with white head. Aroma is more malty than expected. Biscuity, sweet and some pine notes. Taste is more bitter than the nose. Moderate to heavily bitter. Caramel, biscuits make a nice backbone to the pine, resin hoppy bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Pretty solid IPA.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Appearance- lightly carbonated. Fairly clear. Amber, copper hue. Big foamy bone white head with very good lacing.
Smell- caramel, malt, bread. Mildly piney. Biscuity.
Taste- superb! Well balanced hops. Mild to moderately spicy. Mildly resinous.
Mouthfeel- medium. Moderately bitter. Dry. Smooth.
Overall- excellent!!! Highly recommend. An epic shame it’s not a year rounder. Load up on it when the opportunity presents. It’s an Imperial Amber to look at, for sure, but drinks like an imperial IPA, and a superior one.

(draught) pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy light beige head. aroma of oranges and cornflakes, slightly resinous, with a hint of caramel, nettles, lots of mango, strawberries and passion fruit. flavour is more cornflakes, strawberries and caramel, with a hint of alcohol in the medium-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with soft carbonation.
