4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear orange gold, short white head, great lacing. Aroma is fruity, citrus sweet. First flavor to hit is like orange juice with the rind, sweet citrus and bitter, thick sweet malts. Hops seem to become more pine resin towards the finish, still sweet around the edges. Very pleasant, not overwhelming.

On tap at Spitzer’s Corner, NYC. Golden peach. Aroma is tropical fruit rising out, yet not quite as aromatic as Sculpin’. On its way though. Taste is so fruity and smooth - delicious. Sculpin’ without the bitter finish. Love it. Finish is syrupy without being clinging. Overall, one of the best India pales I’ve had.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden amber body with a off white head that had great retention and nice lace. Aroma was all hops. Nice bold pine hops, some nice floral qualities to it. A hint of resin and subtle grapefruit hops rounded it out. Flavor had a mild sweetness upfront and was all hops. Mostly bitter and certainly boldly flavor. Gotta love that pine flavor. Floral and grapefruit hops were mildly present but took a back seat to the initial pine burst. Dry finish.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good lacing, nice aroma of hoppy ale scent. Smooth caramel roll onto the tongue, with a malty finish and hints of hops and even slight apricot and cocoa notes in some places. Less hop on the taste than the aroma would lead you to believe, but still a pleasant hop experience. Slight dry bitter ending at finish, like unsweetened cocoa. Enjoyable but linear.

The pour is an awesome golden hopped hue. A burnt orange with tons of reflections. Good hoppy aroma with subtle fruit shining through. Really fresh hops and good mouthfeel. Solid stuff.

Poured from bottle. Great color. Aroma is mainly just hops. Hops are intense but tasty.

Poured from the bottle into a pint. Not much aroma. Just a lot of hop smell. The color is a beautiful goldish amber color. with a nice 3 finger head. This is definitely a hop bomb. It is right in your face. It’s great. Sticks in your mouth and stays with you for a while. You can still taste it a while after you drink it. It’s a bold beer. Overall this is a great beer.

My favorite beer to take out to dinner with me. Tasty as hell with a good alcoholic content to boot, this nutty ale pairs well with red meat, earthy umami flavors, and salt. Refreshing, full bodied, and one fantastic beer.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap. Pours dark red with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, caramel malt and black cherries. Body is full and tangy. Citrusy, piney hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit combine on the palate. Finish is long and bitter. Nectar it is.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Like an American pale ale with more body, more caramel richness, and a balance more towards malt than hops (although hop rates can be significant).

Bottle thanks to beernut. Pours amber with white head. Aroma is full of hops, piney and sweet. Taste is hoppy, a bit sharp, fades away in the aftertaste. Really easy drinker and really good. Reminds me of tocabaga, yummy as hell. Def like this one, thanks Art!
