Poured clear with a frothy white head, lace was ok. First smell was caramel with a nice hop backbone. I haven’t smelled a beer like this in a while, great. Tastes the same. Well balanced and full of flavor. Caramel malts balanced with the hop character and finishes with a smooth toasty flavor, I love it. this beer drinks well with the best of them. I am mad I can’t get this at home!

Pours a beautiful crystal clear golden orange. Good hop aroma but not overwhelming. Flavor showcases the hops and is very well done. Not over-hopped like many of the hoppy beers on the market yet still very prominent hop flavor. Fantastic!

Can courtesy of Chalemeaux. Thanks, TJ! Pours copper with a big light beige head. I can easily smell the citrus and hop aromas from three feet away after the pour. Slight caramel, but overall dry for an amber. Grapefruit and floral hop. Pine comes in at the finish.

Thanks bro for smuggling a fresh case home through a snowstorm! ... and giving me some ... !! Very clear golden amber pour. Sweet fruit, pine, light bread and some caramel malt. Resiny and quite chewy with a smooth and long finish. Very nice!! A white whale conquered. 15.2

Brillant! Aroma is plenty of citrus, stone fruit, and hoppy essence. The taste is off the charts. This is the exemplary design of the style--tons of juicy citrus hops that taste so pure and true it’s hard to wrap your mind around. The malt compliments the hops, but it’s obvious who the star of this brew is... My only quandary is the "imperial amber" label. Whatever. Finish is bitter but it doesn’t overpower the luxurious hop flavor. Dang, this is badass.

Draft at Blind Tiger, NYC. Rich deep clear gold, thick cresting foam. Deep pine and other riches. Clean, crisp hop bill. Resin and pine, and just the right amount of bittering. Stands up to the strong and tasty malt body. Firm, healthy beer. Everything I want in a pint. Love it.

at My place on a Thursday night while Taylor is at "Girls Night." Pours deep bronze with manly foamy head. Aroma is piney medium strength hops. Taste is sweet pine, juicy tangy pine, heavy bitterness that works, but does leave my mouth a little dry. I like it, but prefer a lighter more floral IPA. really nice flavor though.

Pours a medium amber color with a white head. Aromas of hops, citrus, melon, and caramel. Taste of more of the same. Nice lacing in the glass. Nice and not to overpowering either. Very light on the palate.

A great beer. This would be nice at dinner or out at a bar. It has great flavor but nothing over powering.

Delicious! Just the right balance of sweet to bitter. And potent to boot. Definitely going back to this.
