COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

12oz bottle pours light amber with minimal head. Aromas of hops and a little straw and a little carmel sweet malt. Tastes very flural with hopyness up front and balanced with malt pretty well. Medium body very good session ale

Cask pour, sans sparkler at Teresa’s Next Door. Pours a very attractive golden copper with a lasting foam head. Nose is fresh C-hops, a bit of caramel and bread. On taste, very good bitterness, citrus comes through, bready malts as well. Clean finish. Excellent APA.

Bottle to pilsner glass. Nice dark yellow, almost amber color. Strong hop scents. Sparse head, but good lacing. Nice thick mouthfeel, and lots of pine / hop flavors. Musky. Hardly any malt sweetness to it. Excellent.

pours a light gold with a thin, non-lasting whit head. Smells like pine and citrus with some underlying malt sweetness. Medium light body, good carbonation with a dryish finish. On the tongue there is pine and citrus over some nice malts, caramel, with a dry finish. A nicely done beer.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours darkish gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is sweetly floral. Medium body with a frothy carbonation. Flavor is roast malt with some resin hop. It’s pretty flavorful, but the IBUs probably aren’t super high. Still it finishes bitter, and it’s mighty tasty. I could drink a lot of this.

Solid APA, prefer the hopback for a little more bite but this is smooth drinking and usually on special around here.
