Nice thick, light colored head; great lacing; golden body. Nice citrus aroma. Good weight on the palate and just about perfect amount of carbonation. Tastes great and can definitely enjoy more than one in a siting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 scraff (2118) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Sparkling gold, creamy white head. Floral biscuit-like aromas ride undercurrents of caramel grains throughout. Soft non-bitter hop flavors stand upon a sturdy foundation of deep caramel malt throughout. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bittersweet finish. Decent, but certainly not a Troegs favorite of mine…
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GMUcrew7 (508) - Mason, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Pours golden color with a small off white head. Nice pine hop aroma. The flavor is a little watered down, light hop and caramel malt. Medium bodied, decent but I think it might be a little over rated.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jb (1540) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 25, 2010
Orange tinge to this, nice carbonation - small bubbles, some head, nice heavy lacing. Big citrus nose. Great mouthfeel, creamy, velvety, tastes of citrus, refreshing, nice balance, not quite as overpowering as an IPA but very nice.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 MartinT (6150) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 19, 2010
My Bottom Line:
This welcoming American Pale Ale supplies citrusy hops atop cracker-like cereals until a leafy, spicy bitterness tickles the back of the tongue.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the clear dark golden.
-The soft effervescence and slender body make for extremely high drinkability. This is almost watery at times, it is so easy to quaff.
-Flavor intensity is even throughout and all flavors are balanced.
-This is not the most memorable recipe for the style, but it is competently crafted and serves its quenching purposes wonderfully.
