Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

Pinkish, light amber, clear. Light to medium body, moderate flavor, silky texture, low heat, rich mouthfeel, short length, auster finish. Bitter, dry, bright acidity. Very hoppy, herby, malty, a hint of mint. Ok, had better in the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a transparent amber, almost like a dark apple juice, from a bottle. Quickly dissipating head with large bubbles. Aroma starts with a touch of grass, then settles into the classic piney hops. Flavor is a little bland, somewhat bitter, a little malt but not much, but a well-balanced beer and a good representative of pale ales.

Light, smooth, and crisp. A tasty blend of hops that doesn't overpower the pallet and as an added bonus a pretty smell ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz, bottle from craft 12 pack. Nice hop content. A little long on the palate. But still very drinkable.

Bottle. Caramel color with hint of orange. Thick, off-white head; ample lacing. Hoppy aroma with pine and citrus. Refreshing malt up front with strong hop presence. Pine and citrus hoppiness with slight resin finish. Excellent pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BOD 8/17/14. Clear light amber pour that is slightly darker than golden. Very nice head with normal lacing and retention. Light nose of citric and floral hops over a light biscuit. Light medium bodied with an almost slick texture. Perfectly carbonated with an exceptional effervescent finish. The flavor profile is exceptional - intense, balanced, clean and somewhat complex. It begins with a wave of blended hop flavor (pine, citric and a touch of spice) over a light biscuit background. The middle is a medium bitterness that is mostly pine, but also has grapefruit rind aspects, which fades into a very light caramel. The finish is quite effervescent and yields a nice dryness. A mild bitterness lingers that has a bit of pepper and caramel sweetness. An outstanding Pale Ale.

It has a light golden honey color with good clarity. On top is a just off white head which slowly fades from an inch thick cap to a wispy thin film covering. The aroma has a sweet bready, almost honey like maltiness with a touch of leafy herbal hops. Flavor wise it is very close to the nose with a firm medium body of bready sweet and light caramel/honey maltiness with a light touch of herbal hop bitterness. Its easy drinking and smooth on the plate.
