Bottle. Pours a golden color with minimal head. Smells a bit of grass.. a little earthy. Tastes mildly hoppy yet a bit thin on mouthfeel. Pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Almost clear copper orange with a fading white head. Nose is citrus, toffee and pine. Medium light, carb soft and not so tight. Taste like the nose, clean but ordinary. Good for what it is, a session pale.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 yarry (451) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2011
12 oz bottle, 5.4% a/v
Beautiful pour, the colour of honey with a nice lacy tan head. The aroma is mostly citrus and floral hops with a bit of caramel malt to back it up. The taste is hoppy as the nose suggest, but actually tremendously well balanced by the malt sweetness. The palate is very clean and refreshing, providing a full mouthfeel but also going down smooth. Overall one of the best executed APA’s I have had in awhile!
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jkwood04 (1207) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 23, 2011
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a thick, lacy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts and some light citrusy and grassy hops. Flavor about the same. Average texture. An above average pale ale.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 scarletfire65 (420) - Rockaway Park, New York, USA - SEP 17, 2011
Cask conditioned, at Gingerman NYC. Flavor and aroma dominated by grapefruit, floral hops, yeast. Light bodied, crisp, dry finish with a unique floral quality, but bitter enough to offset that. Well done, and certainly benefitted from the cask, it was very smooth and well balanced.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 simianninja (4) - USA - AUG 27, 2011 does not count
Yellowish to slightly amber color ... not too much of a head present. Aroma is a bit hoppy but more malts. Doesn’t lend to much lacing at all on the glass. Taste is definitely more hoppy than the smell, with a slight malty after taste. Probably one of my least favorite Troeg’s products, but still better than a lot of pale ale’s out there.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Spookgolds (180) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2011
Pours a nice golden color, with a small head that quickly dissipates. Hoppy aroma, and tastes mildly of hops, citrus (grapefruit mostly), and somewhat metallic. Finishes sweet and citrusy. Good.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bierkitty (50) - Elysburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Pours clear and golden with a nice head that dwindles to a small layer that sticks around ’till the respectably bitter end. Aroma is of hop flowers with a touch of citrus. Smooth light maltiness, a little sweetness and a pleasant lasting bitterness. A good "go to" beer when the homebrew situation gets critical.
