Bottle. Pours a golden color. small head. Very good for a pale ale. I was surprised how hoppy it is, but it is well balanced just the same. There is a slight citrus taste and a touch of bitterness. It is very crisp. It is a good beer to drink while watching a football game.

Heavy malt flavors for a pale ale. Poignant hops settle in the mouth for a well subdued and balanced pale ale. nice copper color. Not much of a nose.

Bottle. I’m excited to find these guys in NY now. Amber pour with a quickly fading head. Citrus and floral hop aromas. Even malt flavors with bright and crisp citrusy hops. Has a bit of a minerally quality as well. Medium to full bodied. Pretty good APA.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2011 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright copper color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was moderately sweet and fruity hops. The flavor was crisp, bitter and had a nice blend of fruity and floral hops and a light peppery undertone. The finish was longish and somewhat dry with a lingering hop presence. Very nice for the style.

Very nice floral hoppy aroma that belies a rather weak flavor and mouthfeel. Hops are nice, but almost no malt character. Rather disappointing considering Troegs numerous successes in other beers.

Very nice citrus aroma with a slight malt back bone. Taste follows suit, but a little watery. Average.

Bottle. Pours clear dark golden with a small head. Aroma of pine, brown sugar and grapefruit. Taste almost has a creaminess to it that I don’t expect from a pale ale. Hops could be more assertive.

12oz. Less than stellar, somewhat of a disappointment from Troegs. Light copper with a smallish head. Not much of a nose, the body is soft and thin, and left me wanting with mostly straight-forward hops and malt.
