COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

Bottle. Amber body with a froth, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Malty aroma of toasted grain with hints of orange and resin. The flavor is lightly to mdoerately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation. Taste of orange and orange peel. This is an interesting APA because it is different: Hop bitterness yet balanced well with sweet orange juice. I especially liked this flavor.

A decent APA, just not as hoppy as I would like it, but solid. An easy drinkable beer.

Pours an orangeish color. Has a white head. Smells of grass. Taste is also grassy with some hops and spice. Decent pale ale. I would put this in the upper half of pale ales.

Lighter than copper but nice and clear. Not bottle conditioned. Sweet and caramel with a crisp zesty hit. Medium dry finish. Kinda sticky with brown sugar after you drink a couple. Good beer.

Honey color with a bit of straw mixed in for good measure. Fluffy white head that quickly drops and leaves plenty of lacing on the sides of the glass. Muted malt behind a slight hop aroma. A little metallic as well. Tastes of big mouthfuls of hops. A bit of floraly-citrusy tastes as well. Almost like an orange juice with hops. But not that overpowering. Sweet bitter aftertaste. Excellent daily drinking APA.

Draft at RnH for Troegs Night with Linh, Streets, and Brendan. Pours a clear golden body with no head or lacing. Aroma is typical pale hop, light citrus. Mouthfeel is thin with not too much going on, some skunky malty notes towards the finish similar to the Hopback.

Pour is a light clear orange goldish color. Nose is of some light malts and light fruits. Taste is fruity with a nice hop finish. Light and refreshing, rather standard for the style.
