3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 SBor02 (67) - Delaware, USA - FEB 28, 2011
The pour is a clear orange with a white pillowy head that had some good duration. I pick up notes of lemon and biscuit at first and then more citrus as the beer warmed. There was a nice hop bite to this beer that was pretty steady, however, as the beer continued to warm it began to taste a bit astringent. The body was light to medium with good carbonation. To me this was a beer better at the beginning than the end.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 rampmaster (643) - Alden, New York, USA - FEB 26, 2011
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a light golden honey color with good clarity. On top is a just off white head which slowly fades from an inch thick cap to a wispy thin film covering.
Smell: The aroma has a sweet bready, almost honey like maltiness with a touch of leafy herbal hops.
Taste: Flavor wise it is very close to the nose with a firm medium body of bready sweet and light caramel/honey maltiness with a light touch of herbal hop bitterness. Its easy drinking and smooth on the plate.
Notes: Overall a bit light on hops for an APA but still tasty.

12oz bottle. Dark orange/brown color with a thin bubbly head. Clear and transparent. Aroma has hints of hops and malts, but nothing over the top crazy here. Flavor carries very much of the same feel that the aroma does. A good session beer.

Bottle in trade with Kwest159. Thanks! Pours a clear light amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is faintly hoppy and a little malty. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet and a nice balance of hops malt. A very smooth beer. This would be a good staple in the fridge if it were available where I live.
