Light golden color, weak white head. Aroma of hops, floral and citrusy hops. Surprisingly mild bitterness given the aroma. Slight sweetness, tasted like caramel. Slight bitter finish. Very drinkable, really like this one. Balanced ale.

Poured into a pint glass.
4.0 A: Clear very light orange color. Two fingers of off-white head with decent retention and tons of lacing.
4.5 S: Very floral and herbal aroma, almost like a high-end soap. Biscuity malts. Very nice overall.
4.5 T: Herbal and citrus hop flavor. Biscuity malts again. Flavors are in a perfect balance.
4.5 M: Medium body. Good carbonation. Smooth and creamy. Very nice.
5.0 D: Awesome brew. Probably the best pale ale I’ve ever had. I could drink this all damn night.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 pottygok (221) - Ohio, USA - JAN 11, 2011
Aroma: Floral hops with light caramel malt undertones.
Appearance: Pale gold with a light carbonation, nice white head.
Taste: Light Sweetness,Medium Bitterness, Light Sourness. Very pleasant combination.
Palate: Medium body, thin, almost crisp, texture, lively carbonation, and a decent finish.
Overall: Not a mind blowing pale ale, but certainly one of high standards and quality. I could see this being a more subtle, deceptive pale ale that would sneak up on the drinker after a few bottles. Very solid beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 FunkyBrewster (1316) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours a very pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is slightly cheesy hops, with a touch of doughiness and some citric notes. A touch piney as well. Flavor starts with a soft sweet bready note before slowly picking up some piney hop bitterness. The citric notes come towards the soft and lightly bitter and grainy finish. Medium body and a softer carbonation. Good, but I have a feeling this isn’t a super fresh bottle.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tommeagher (210) - Jersey City, New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2010
Not much smell. Golden, clear pour. Thin on the palate.
But this is a light, sweet, hoppy pale ale, a solid session beer and worth having more than one. It’s not a one of a kind, but a good one nonetheless.
