COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden, almost copper body with a nice tall white head. The aroma is nice--mostly herbal hops. The flavor is, strange. Herbal hops with a weird tinge to it. I cant really describe it. Its almost chemical, but at the same time really herbal. Medium to light body with medium-low carbonation. Overall: meh. A fine pale ale, but nothing that stands out.

Amber with thin, dissipating head leaving an oily pattern. Aroma/Flavor is of grapefruit with a bit of bitterness, slight malt sweetness to balance, no yeast character. Medium bodied. Not as memorable as the hopback amber, which has a bit more caramel to balance the wonderful hop flavors.

Clear golden color with great clarity. Really bright fresh aroma, orange, melon kick in the nose, very clean. Clean crisp flavor, hops are mild, sort of shying away from the spotlight. Kiss of citrus fruit. Flavor quickly cuts to a sweet biscuity malt. Likewise, a short clean aftertaste. Lighter body, only moderately bitter. Troegs Pale Ale is pretty conservative in flavor, light on the palate, and everything coming and going quickly. Highly drinkable, very nice session beer.

Bottle from White Rose in York, PA. Aroma is somewhat mellow, with hints of caramel malt and light, sweet hops. Flavor is a touch more powerful, with extra citrus brightness and earthy flavors from the hops. Somewhat dry finish. Overall, another solid Troegs offering.

12 oz bottle. Aroma of flowers and hops. Color was not noted as it was straight from the bottle. Taste was straightforward pale ale. A nice balance of hops and malt. Palate was light body will medium carbonation and a bitter finish. Overall a decent take on one of my favorite styles

Pours a clear orange-gold, with a small white head. Aromas are hops, caramel, and very earthy. Flavor is very smooth with lots of piney hops and a good malt to balance it out. Finishes dry, really nice!
