Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear light copper color with a decent white head. Seems like a dry hopped aroma. Really springy. Nice, light hoppy taste. Smooth. Not watered down, just smooth. Light, dry finish. Solid Pale Ale.

Bright brassy gold with a small fluffy beige head. Toasted malt nose has a slight grainy note. Flavor has a sweet honey character that is balanced nicely by the spruce like bitter hops. Slightly oily texture. Spicy bittersweet hop finish has a touch of vanilla bean.

Poured from the tap at the Blue & Grey Pub in Gettysburg, PA into a pint glass. This beer has a light golden color with a small thick white head. The aroma has a sweet malt and honey scent with a hint of bread. the flavor matches the aroma and is a medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. A real good beer.

What a great Pale Ale! Hoppy with more body than a typical Pale Ale, but the right amount of alcohol. Just wish I could find this by the case.

2015-08-21. Lightly hazy orange body with a small off white head. 3+ Aroma of mild fruit and green hops, moderate malt core. Flavour is mildly bitter, lightly fruity, light lemon and mild green hops. 6++ Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. It grows on me but I think I may have held onto the bottle just a touch too long. Bottle from Troegs, Hershey, PA.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours copper with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is fruit and hops. The taste is a really nice balance of fruit, grain, malt, and hops. The palate is carbonated with a lingering tartness. This was very good.

A great summer beer. Light, refreshing and tasty. Just enough hope for a bit of flavor and bittering, but very well balanced. It won’t blow your sock off, but not every good beer will.

Pours a clear slightly amber gold with a foamy white head. Smells of crystal malt, spruce hops. Taste is bitter and sweet balanced - spruce and peach pit hops against a clear honey malt.

Bottle. Taste is a mixture of hops, malt, citrus, pine and wood. Solid beer, especially for a pale ale.
