Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale.

12oz bottle pours a mostly clear golden/orange in color with a medium white head. Aroma is quite mute caramel malts with some Belgian spice. Taste of caramel and Belgian malts with some fruity sweetness, citrus, and some hops. Clean and decent.

2015-08-21. Lightly hazy orange body with a small off white head. 3+ Aroma of mild fruit and green hops, moderate malt core. Flavour is mildly bitter, lightly fruity, light lemon and mild green hops. 6++ Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. It grows on me but I think I may have held onto the bottle just a touch too long. Bottle from Troegs, Hershey, PA.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours copper with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is fruit and hops. The taste is a really nice balance of fruit, grain, malt, and hops. The palate is carbonated with a lingering tartness. This was very good.

A great summer beer. Light, refreshing and tasty. Just enough hope for a bit of flavor and bittering, but very well balanced. It won’t blow your sock off, but not every good beer will.

Pours a clear slightly amber gold with a foamy white head. Smells of crystal malt, spruce hops. Taste is bitter and sweet balanced - spruce and peach pit hops against a clear honey malt.

Bottle. Taste is a mixture of hops, malt, citrus, pine and wood. Solid beer, especially for a pale ale.

Pinkish, light amber, clear. Light to medium body, moderate flavor, silky texture, low heat, rich mouthfeel, short length, auster finish. Bitter, dry, bright acidity. Very hoppy, herby, malty, a hint of mint. Ok, had better in the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
