4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2015 A solid IPA. Very well balanced but no layers. The malt balances with a touch of nectar. Very nice lemon citrus hop profile. A touch of pine, no juice. Since every beer had to use citra since it came out, I really like how it was used only in the dry hop and the characteristics it seems to lend.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I’ve been waiting to have a Tröegs beer for a long time so I was super excited when I got to Norfolk and found a six pack. Tons of citrus and grassiness in the aroma. Really awesome stuff. I like how this is an "imperial pale ale" it’s so clean a fresh. Tastes is really hoppy and bitter. Very clean taste and super easy to drink. Almost too easy. Really glad I finally found a beer by these guys!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from Niagara Falls Wegmans. Pours a clearish golden colour with modest-sized white head. Aroma is citrus forward with some resiny notes and a light, sweet maltiness. Flavour is also fairly critusy, definitely grapefruit, with some underlying spicy, resin character and some sweet candyishness. Lingering citric bitterness in finish. Impressive.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle from Brewmaster’s in Wilson. Golden hue, light murky clarity with almost fully diminishing white fizzy head. No lacing. Grapefruit, lemon, light sweet malt (as it warms) aromas. Light bitter floral taste up front with more of a citrus/grapefruit hop finish. As the beer warms the taste of grapefruit hop goes from start to finish. Very lively carbonation on the palate. A really solid IPA!!!!
